Club Announcement
To All,
Spring is upon us and time for us to dust off our toys and get ready for the car show season. Thanks goes out to Anthony Chevrolet Cadillac agreeing to allowing us to host another car show this year. The date of the show this year will be Saturday June 14. Again it will be held from 9 AM to 1 PM.
We are planning on having a car club meeting on April 14 at approximately 6 PM at Anthony's in order to discuss show plans along with events for this coming season. I hope to see you there. If you are unable to attend and have any suggestions for an event you would like to see the club attend, please e-mail it to me and I will make sure that it is brought up at the meeting.
One event that Chad Freeman and myself are signed up for already this year is the Bandit Run. This is taking place from May 12 to 18. It is leaving from Columbus, OH traveling through Charleston, WV, Johnson City, TN and finishing up right outside of Atlanta, GA. We are meeting up with the caravan in Charleston and continuing to Atlanta with them. For more information please visit our website or you can go to Year One.
I have attached a copy of our show flyer for your information as well as to pass out to other car enthusiasts in your area. Remember, our car show is open to ALL makes, models, and years. Trucks and motorcycles are also invited to partake.

Looks like Bandit Run 2008 is going to be the week of May 11th and start somewhere near Columbus Ohio.

2009 Chevy Camaro Pre-Release Photos
Once seeing spy shots of the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro, Scott Settlemire has
asked that everyone please wait until they see the final car before
passing judgement. Here's a quote from him.........
"We will be sharing more pics of uncammo'd cars shortly.
A word of caution -- (and it brings my point closer to home after the
interior shots appeared over the past 24 hours.....) -- these cars are
in no way finished. If I had to give a 'percentage' -- I'd say 65%
complete. For instance -- when you see pics of the uncammo'd cars --
you'll note the headlamps look strange -- and that's because the
production ones aren't ready -- the ones on these early mules are
literally 'off the shelf from an autoparts store' headlamps --
literally glued/screwed into a pre-production grille........... Fits
and finishes are lacking because they are pre-production parts.
Interiors? Many switches and surfaces are plastic and in some cases,
controls aren't actually what will be used in the final product.
The frustration? We WANT to share with you -- but we hope that the
enthusiast community will not jump to conclusions -- and will await
seeing the final product before drawing final conclusions."
